Change of Period of Insurance

If the itinerary is cancelled or rearranged due to restrictions on entry, entry-visa being rejected, destination country imposes flight ban under the outbreak of COVID-19 or any personal reason (e.g. concern of health risks), policyholder can apply for deferring the period of insurance to not later than 31 Dec 2020 for any planned destination. Application for change must be sent to Sompo on or before 31 Jul 2020.

Period of Insurance Extension

Period of insurance stated in the policy shall be automatically extended without additional cost by a maximum period of 10 days and can be further extended on a case-by-case basis if required.

Compulsory Quarantine Cash Allowance

Compulsory Quarantine Cash Allowance extends to cover quarantine due to COVID-19 and the period of insurance on this benefit will also be extended from 7 to 14 days after returning to Hong Kong.
